Hey everyone! We got some snow this weekend and I thought I'd share some pictures with you. We were suppose to get more than we did according to the local news channels and the weather channel but we didn't...go figure. But we were quite happy with what we did get. We prepared for a day and a half for a major power outage and luckily it didn't happen. Oh well all that hard work hopefully want be in vain for they are calling for more snow this coming weekend.
Here you can see that we don't have as much water in our cove in the winter months which is quite depressing unless of course there's snow on the ground. Otherwise it's just a big mud hole with a creek running through it.
We rode sleighs, made a snowman, snow angels and even went for rides on our 4 wheelers and my golf cart. Yes folks I said golf cart. I was curious as to if it would go or not and it did just fine til I went to park it and slid half way down the yard. Luckily, I have a strong husband and son who was able to put me back in my cozy little spot and there she will stay til the weather warms up. I've been brainstorming and working on some things in the craft room to share with you all so until I have those finished I hope that you enjoy the pictures of the pretty snowfall.
